Greek cat sanctuary hiring caretaker to live on island, supervise 55 cats

If you love cats and island living your dream job has officially arrived

This is surely any cat lovers dream job - and there's still a chance to apply.

You can now get paid to head to a Greek island and look after a load of cats.

God's Little People Cat Rescue home on the lovely Greek island of Syros is looking for someone to help care for their 55 charming moggies.

The position requires you to care for all 55 cats, feed them, and distribute their medications.

Employment duties? The person would need to be able to take over running the cat sanctuary and be a "mature and genuinely passionate cat lover who knows how to handle many cats and would love their company!" according to the job listing. Sounds like the start of a career that's the cat's meow.

As if hanging out with tons of cats in paradise wasn't cool enough, the gig also comes with a fully paid for residence and private garden and a salary.

If you're selected, your room and board will be taken care of and you will also receive a salary.

"We are located in a secluded nature preserved area which is very tranquil and quiet in the winter time but busy during the summer".

'That said, you'll never feel lonely in the company of the cats and you'll be expected to live with a small handful of cats in your house'.
