TV expert's cat jumps on head during interview

The video was shared on twitter by Dutch journalist Rudy Bouma

Jerzy Targalski, famous Polish historian and publicist, has become a new Internet meme thanks to his cat, who also made a decision to participate in an interview with his master, wrote on Sunday, July 8 TJourmal, reports Корреспондент.net. Maybe it's the way Jerzy gently pulls away the cat's tail on more than one occasion.

Targalski carried on with the interview without skipping a beat and even held Lisio's tail after it covered his eyes.

Political scientist Dr Jerzy Targalski was busy analysing the political situation in Poland, amid a government crackdown on the country's independent supreme court.

A tweet showing the footage, shared by the NTR interviewer Rudy Bouma, has racked up more than 340,000 views from cat lovers and bemused netizens alike.

As Targalski talked about Polish history, Lisio climbed up his arm and onto his head and shoulders.

It's reminiscent of the time North Korea expert Robert E Kelly was interrupted by his daughter and baby son during an interview with the BBC.

The video shows Targalski maintain his composure and continue to give the interview as his cat climbs onto his shoulders and rubs against his face. Follow INSIDER on Facebook.
