Stormy Daniels arrested in OH while performing a strip show

Adult film star Stormy Daniels has been arrested at a strip club in OH after being accused of allowing a customer to touch her.

Lawyer Michael Avenatti is representing adult film actress Stormy Daniels who has sued President Donald Trump. Trump has denied any sexual relationship with Daniels.

Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, was in police custody early Thursday morning and was expected to face a misdemeanor charge, Avenatti said.

Under Ohio law, an employee who regularly appears nude or seminude on the premises of a sexually-oriented business is not allowed to touch a patron or anyone who's not a family member while nude or seminude at that business.

Michael Avenatti said in a tweet the charge was "politically motivated".

Avenatti said Daniels, whose legal name is Stephanie Clifford, was arrested while "performing the same act she has performed across the nation at almost a hundred strip clubs".

He followed up with this tweet detailing her arrest.

A Columbus police spokeswoman didn't immediately respond to a message seeking comment.

His comments came after a watchdog group argued that the payout should be viewed as an unreported campaign expense, which Cohen denied.

Cohen allegedly paid Daniels $130,000 to keep quiet about her sexual encounter with Mr. Trump. Then, the Wall Street Journal reported that Cohen had complained in the past about not being able to reach Trump during the process and not being reimbursed - both suggesting that Trump was indeed involved.
