PS4 Firmware 6.00 on the Way as Sony Opens Beta Sign-ups

PS4 System Software Update 6.0

As is now their standard system, Sony are gearing up for their next major PlayStation 4 system software update by putting it through the wringer of beta testing. Users must be of 18 years or older and be a PlayStation Plus or PlayStation Now subscriber to apply.

Although no official announcements have been made yet, the beta sign-up pages for North America and Japan are now open. The new features and additions for this upcoming PS4 firmware update are still unknown so we will have to wait and see to find out more about it.

The sign-ups for PS4 system software Update 6.0 are open till July 27 and users need to be the member of PlayStation Plus or PlayStation Now in order to sign-up. And here we are just hoping that they will finally implement a way to change our gamertag because. well.
