Princess Charlotte steals the show in Prince Louis' official christening photos

The Royal Family gathers at Clarence House for Prince Louis's christening

"The Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Louis in the garden at Clarence House, following Prince Louis's christening".

His parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, his siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, his grandparents, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall were in attendance among others.

Members of the Royal Family appear in another photo without the Middletons, while a third photo features just the Cambridges and the fourth photo is an image of just Kate and son Louis.

One of the snaps shows them surrounded by Prince Charles, Camilla, Kate's family and Prince Harry and Meghan.

The official photos from Prince Louis of Cambridge's christening have been released by Kensington Palace today.

"Everyone was so relaxed and in such good spirits, it was an absolute pleasure".

He said he hoped he had captured the "joy" of the christening in his photos.

The Cambridges are now a family of five.

After the ceremony, the baby prince looked content and adorable as he wiggled his fingers at his smiling mum.

The monarch had a busy week ahead, with high-profile celebrations in central London marking the centenary of the RAF on Tuesday and visit by US President Donald Trump in Windsor on Friday.

Louis was carried into the chapel by his mother, wearing the handmade replica of the royal christening robe, which in 2008 replaced the original that had been worn for all royal christenings since that of Queen Victoria's eldest daughter in 1841.

Meghan - who was attending her first royal christening - looked stylish dressed in an olive-green Ralph Lauren outfit and Stephen Jones hat.

The Prince's godparents were also announced the morning of his christening as Nicholas van Cutsem, Guy Pelly, Harry Aubrey-Fletcher, Lady Laura Meade, Robert Carter and Lucy Middleton.

The service was conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby, who also christened both Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
