Jonathan Crenshaw's mugshot

Jonathan Crenshaw, 46, used his feet to hold scissors and stabbed Cesar Coronado, 22, Miami Beach police said Wednesday.

Jonathan Crenshaw, who paints pictures with his feet and weighs around 90lbs, was arrested in Miami Beach for allegedly stabbing a tourist from Chicago with a pair of scissors.

Crenshaw has an extensive criminal past, including battery of law enforcement officers, according to local police.

The 46-year-old armless man was arrested in Miami Beach, Florida.

Crenshaw said he was lying down when Coronado approached him and punched him in the head, the arrest report said.

Crenshaw was arrested on an aggravated battery charge. He said he then pulled out a pair of scissors with his feet and stabbed the victim before putting the scissors in his waistband and leaving the area, authorities said.

Coronado and his friend Cindy Barrientos, who was present during the incident, both told the responding officers that they were just asking Crenshaw for directions when he jumped up and stabbed him, as per a Miami Herald report.

He's a fixture on the Lincoln Road Mall in Miami's South Beach area.

The New Times says Crenshaw's paintings are colorful mosaics that often featured eyes.

Coronado, who was visiting Florida from Chicago, suffered a wound to his left arm and officers found him lying on the ground bleeding, according to WPLG. His court date is scheduled for July 18.
