Google Search job hunt feature now available in the UK

The new job search feature allows United Kingdom users to use custom queries in Google Search like "IT jobs near me" and the search engine will surface results from across the web that suit their unique job skills and needs.

Job hunters will be able to save jobs, and even set themselves up with email notifications to that they never miss an opportunity. Users can then click through to the job provider's website to find out more and apply. An integral part of any job search is Google, and starting today, it'll be a lot easier for job seekers to find a position that suits their needs. Employers may be feeling the impact of this too: "three quarters of United Kingdom employers face talent shortages and have issues filling open positions with the right candidate".

The many challenges are connecting to job seekers to find the right job with better information as per job availability.

In addition to the larger listing sites, Google has also partnered with thousands of smaller specialist platforms. Typing simple queries like "teaching jobs" or "jobs near me" will let you browse listings pulled from a variety of sources, including Gumtree, TotalJobs, Reed, and The Guardian Jobs. Google is latest technology that boosting American jobs.

Reed.co.uk's director of marketing Mark Rhodes said: "Early signs from our testing with Google show jobseekers arriving at reed.co.uk via this new search experience are application-ready, with a high level of intent, so we anticipate seeing a positive impact on the quality and volume of applications we supply to our recruitment clients".

The results aim to streamline such listings by eliminating duplicate jobs posted on different sites. If you're logged in to your Google account, it'll also use Google Maps to show you how long your commute will take.

This detailed information is a departure from the traditional approach of Google's main search engine.

Employment increased by 146,000 in the quarter to April to 32.39 million, the highest figure since records began in 1971, giving a record rate of 75.6%.
