Rome: Italian media say actor George Clooney has been hospitalized after he was involved in an accident while riding a motorcycle in Sardinia.

George Clooney was reportedly involved in a auto accident on Monday.

Clooney has a home on the Italian mainland, on Lake Como. The series is being produced for Hulu.

His castmates include Hugh Laurie, Austin Stowell ('Whiplash') and Kyle Martin Chandler ('Friday Night Lights').

Clooney, 57, plays US Air Force commander Scheisskopf in the World War Two Channel 4 drama, based on Joseph Heller's classic novel.

The rule specifies that a concern for one's own safety in the face of dangers which are real and immediate is the process of a rational mind; a man is considered insane if he willingly continues to fly unsafe combat missions, but a request to be removed from duty is evidence of sanity and therefore makes him ineligible to be relieved from duty.
