Captain Marvel shoot comes to an end, actor Bri Larson shares picture

Captain Marvel

The actor shared the picture of a clapboard and in the background is a calendar where she has marked the countdown to the number of days before she got to go home.

Neither actor has suddenly become vain and made a decision to add a lot of visual effects make-up for the movie, the trickery is instead because they're playing Nick Fury and Agent Phil Coulson in the 1990s, when Captain Marvel is set.

As Deadline explains, Marvel Studios won't have a presence at San Diego Comic-Con this month, so it could be some time before we learn more about Captain Marvel. July 6 was reportedly the final day of filming. However, the clapperboard is filled with autographs from what is assumed to be the cast and crew of the movie. The film will be set in the '90s and follow Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot who becomes a superhero after an alien's DNA is fused with her own. Fleck is co-directing the film with Anna Boden. We kind of saw a cameo of Captain Marvel in the post-credits scene of Infinity War, but other than that, we have nothing else to gnaw on. Reprising their roles from Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy are Djimon Hounsou and Lee Pace, and returning once again to a Marvel Studios film will be Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson.
