Zach Randolph: Brother of Kings big man killed in Indiana

Zach Randolph grew up in Marion, which is about 60 miles (97 kilometers) northeast of Indianapolis.

Marion police are investigating after a fatal shooting at Hop's Blues Room on South McClure Street.

National Basketball Association star Zach Randolph's brother, Roger, was shot + killed early this morning outside Hop's Blues Room in Marion.

Police do not know the circumstances of the shooting, but it was believed to be an isolated incident and not a random attack.

Zach Randolph, 36, has played for the Kings since being traded to Sacramento from Memphis in 2017.

Zach Randolph, a Marion native, was with his brother at the time of the 2005 incident at Sinbad's Lounge and Grill in Anderson, Indiana.

The NBA star was not with his brother at the time of the shooting.

In a statement, Kings General Manager Vlade Divac called Randolph's death "tragic", adding "our prayers, heartfelt condolences and thoughts are with Zach and his family during this painful and hard time". He was questioned in connection with the shootings, but not charged.
