The Elder Scrolls: Blades announced for smartphones

Bethesda has announced during its E3 conference that its collectible free-to-play card game, The Elder Scrolls: Legends, will be heading to Nintendo Switch amongst other platforms later this year. The meat of the game is a town building mode, where you upgrade and decorate your town. See, Bethesda's Pete Hines remarked that this isn't a game that is going to come out this year or even the next year.

However, that's really not the important detail of this story.

The Elder Scrolls Online just keeps growing. Unfortunately, it seems like gaining multiplayer capabilities for Fallout may have cost us the extensive amount of mods we've seen in previous games. However, we have a feeling that nothing about that footage is anywhere close to being finalized. That's all we know, however, as the teaser trailer that Todd Howard introduced this morning during the company's E3 presser actually told us very little about the game itself. There's no doubt that someone at Bethesda is working on a new Elder Scrolls title.

Blades contains the many hallmarks Elder Scrolls fans enjoy from the franchise - beautifully rendered, console-quality environments, powerful magic, tons of gear to collect, upgradeable skills and of course, real-time fantasy battles!
