The Division 2 Will Feature 8 People Squads for Raids and More

The Division 2 Will Feature 8 People Squads for Raids and More

Completion of the challenges will unlock not only in-game rewards for the current game, but you'll begin to earn things for The Division 2 before you ever set foot in Washington D.C.

It seems Ubisoft is taking that feedback to heart with The Division 2, as the company announced today at E3 2018 that there will be raids in the game, a first for the franchise. Developed with an endgame-first mentality that emphasizes each player's strategic freedom, Tom Clancy's The Division 2 builds on more than two years of listening to and learnings from The Division community to deliver an even richer and deeper experience. This game takes place in Washington and you and your fellow agents will be able to customise your weapons to fight back threats.

You can check out the gameplay below; they discuss more about the three specializations that will be center stage in the game (Sharpshooter, Demolitionist, and Survivalist), which are showcased by each of the players.

The Division 2's initial level cap is 30, and that's when you'll be able to choose a specialization, Ubisoft said. The developer added that it is planning "years" of content for The Division 2, with new updates becoming available on a frequent basis.

Three new DLCs are planned and will be free.

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is slated to arrive on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on March 15, 2019.
