Prince Harry gives Meghan Markle some royal pointers

She was bashed for breaking the Royal's rule by showing off her shoulders.

That does make her easier to find in photos - when she's not completely blocked that is...

And you thought that lip bite was cute.

It seems the newlywed Duchess of Sussex continued to honour the mother-in-law she never met when she joined the royal family to celebrate the queen's 92nd birthday. There was a celebration of black culture, Meghan part-walking herself down the aisle and plenty of poignant tributes to the late Princess Diana.

The Duchess of Sussex opted for a pale pink off-the-shoulder dress by Carolina Herrera with a matching hat by Philip Treacy.

During Kate's Trooping the Colour debut in 2011, she stood in the front, but to the far left of the balcony.

The day started with a grand military parade and the arrivals of the royals via carriages.

But while the more stodgy British critics took a few jabs at the new Duchess, there were more than a few who supported her.

"She has been warmly embraced by both Kate [Middleton] and Camilla [Duchess of Cornwall], and even Harry has been doing what he can to make sure she feels comfortable and at ease", the source says.

But while Meghan may have been receiving scorn from people on the internet who have nothing better to do with their lives, her husband - Prince Harry - was as supportive as ever.

While guests were standing on the balcony waiting for the Queen to arrive, Meghan wanted to know when to curtsy.

Asked for her thoughts on the Royal Foundation, Meghan said: 'To see the model of the foundation is really interesting because, while I've worked with larger NGOs, I've also worked with really small grassroots organisations where you can see a higher level of impact in my opinion, because there's a lot less red tape.
