Nabil Fekir hits back at Reds over 'failed' medical

GETTYLiverpool transfer news Nabil Fekir could yet move to Anfield

Chelsea and Tottenham have been offered the chance to sign Nabil Fekir for £66m after the Lyon attacker saw his move to Liverpool fall through, according to reports via TeamTalk.

However, the same report now says that Liverpool FC could still revive their interest in signing Fekir this summer after his involvement at the World Cup in Russian Federation with France.

There's no hiding the fact that Spurs are in the market for an attacking midfielder and Fekir could be seen as the ideal solution for Tottenham going into the 2018-19 Premier League season.

The 24-year-old's agent, though, has stated that the attacker - who is part of the France squad for the ongoing World Cup in Russian Federation - could still become a Liverpool this summer, despite a deal between the Reds and Lyon breaking down before the World Cup.

So is this the ideal time for Spurs to pounce and nab Nabil from under their Premier League rivals noses? However, the Frenchman's injury record has been and is a cause for concern.

That prompted Lyon to release a statement claiming that Fekir would be staying with the French club for next season.

It remains to be seen whether or not Spurs will make the leap and secure an audacious hijack of Liverpool's deal for the undoubtedly talented Lyon captain.

However, the deal collapsed at the eleventh hour, leaving Fekir in limbo and without his desired move to the Premier League.
