Fox News host sorry for calling Trump and Kim ‘two dictators’

Fox News host apologizes for calling Donald Trump a'dictator live on air

As she was talking about the upcoming summit between the US president and the North Korean leader, she candidly described Trump and Kim's summit as a meeting between "two dictators".

During an interview with former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci, Huntsman interrupted to noted that Trump had arrived for the summit in Singapore.

US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un are due to meet on Tuesday. "Anthony, talk to us about this moment".

President Donald Trump has quite the record for raising eyebrows with his frequent praise of the world's most notorious dictators and strongmen, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte.

The meeting has been downplayed by Trump in recent days. He headed there right after causing a big ol' scene at the G7 summit, reportedly to impress his possible new ally.

"I called both President Trump and Kim Jong-un a dictator". And he won't have that opportunity again. "It's about attitude", Trump said earlier this week about the Summit. "Everyone makes mistakes. We're all human". "And I think it's going to work out very well". I did not mean to say that.

UPDATE: Later in the broadcast, Fox & Friends host Abby Huntsman apologized for the slip.

Responding to the controversy Sunday afternoon, Huntsman, who just so happens to the be the daughter of U.S. Ambassador to Russia Jon Huntsman, called on people on Twitter to "move on to things that actually matter".
