Epic Games Adding Fortnite Stink Bomb To Run Opponents Out Of Hiding Spots

The first whiff of the stink bomb came with the latest round of datamining, and was confirmed today when the item briefly appeared in the Fortnite in-game news feed.

Fortnite's arsenal of grenades is set to expand with the addition of a stink bomb that unleashes a cloud of gas that slowly damages anybody inside. Now, the publisher and developer has made a decision to bring a new item into the title, by teasing the forthcoming inclusion of what are being called Stink Bombs.

Teams of 20, the Storm Circles give you more room to fight, with the Storm stopping after the third circle. Rocket Launcher reload times have also been increased, depending on rarity.

Bug fixes, performance upgrades, and a little extra content have become the norm for Fortnite fans as Epic has been on top of consistent updates to the game. This date has been making rounds in the "Fortnite" rumor mill after many Nintendo Switch players noticed that televisions in the game environment recently started a countdown timer that points to June 19, although there was no given clue as to what the announcement is actually about. This mode works a lot like the normal Teams of 20 mode, with five teams of 20 players fighting it out across the map, but there's a unique twist.

Legendary from 2.07 to 2.52.

- The remaining teams will battle it out until the timer expires. The final circle triggers a countdown timer; when the time is up, the team with the most players remaining wins.

The team with the most players remaining at the end of the timer wins! Additionally, the maximum amount of Rocket Ammo unloaded that can be carried has been adjusted to 12.
