Browns Coach Hue Jackson Making Good On Promise To Jump Into Lake

Jackson will be joined with club employees when he does the stunt on June 1, and pledged to donate $100 for every employee that jumps in the lake with him to the Hue Jackson Foundation, which fights human trafficking.

Jackson had a stent placed in his heart in 2014, and his doctors did not allow him to jump into the frigid water immediately after the 2017 season ended, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Following the Browns 1-15 season, Jackson had said that he would jump in the lake if they finished the 2017 season with the same record. Jackson will make the jump for the symbolic cleansing of the franchise and for charity. "I'll be swimming in the lake over there or somewhere".

They did not finish 1-15; they were worse, becoming the second team in history to go 0-16.

It may have taken awhile or Jackson to confirm his plans to make the jump but for good reason.

However, if Jackson is unable to make a drastic improvement this time around, he may be diving head first into free agency next year.

Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson is a man of his word.

After going just 1-31 over the past two years, Jackson could use a little good karma before the 2018 season.

So now he's going in, and it's for a good cause: The Hue Jackson Foundation, which Jackson and wife Michelle started last summer, combats human trafficking in Northeast Ohio.

If that miracle cleanse somehow works and fixes the Browns, then we should all probably think about jumping in.
