Avengers: Infinity War's Thanos leaves Fortnite tomorrow

Yeah it's never going to happen especially with this being a limited time event.

Players usually see themselves kicked from the game starting 20 minutes beforehand, so everyone should be ready for some disruption. Developer Epic Games announced today on Twitter that the battle royale game's next update is coming on May 15.

In other Fortnite news, Epic has added yet another dance emote. And who needs a Mad Titan when we could finally have some fresh new burst assault rifles?

It's unclear if this will be part of the next update, which looks set to include some exciting new items.

One big change being made to the game tomorrow will be the removal of the Infinity Gauntlet Mode.

Right now, the Infinity Gauntlet mode is still available in Fortnite, but it will end very soon.

Then they can use Thanos' powerful punch, jumping slam attack, and beam to take out players, each kill replenishing their beefed-up shields (but not their HP); if Thanos gets taken out, he'll drop the gauntlet on the spot and the race to claim it will begin again.

Several months ago, Epic Games stated that Fortnite would feature a plethora of Limited Time Modes as the title continues to evolve, and the studio has even stated that certain preexisting LTMs will be rotated out to then return in their original or slightly refined forms at some point in the future.

"Wield the Gauntlet one last time".
