Motorola Introduces its Own Speaker for the Moto Z

The new Moto Stereo Speaker Moto Mod looks good and costs just $59

Motorola has announced the launch of the Moto Stereo Speaker mod exclusively for the Moto Z series smartphones in Black, Blue, and Red color variant at $59.99.

Despite the lower price, Motorola's speaker solution doesn't appear to be cutting any corners. As the speaker simply connects via the Moto Mod system and draws power from the Moto smartphone.

This new speaker is available for purchase right now on Motorola's website, but you can also finance it for $10/month via Affirm if that's the route you want to take.

Lenovo has launched the cheapest Moto Mod yet – the Moto Stereo Speaker

It also comes with an integrated kickstand, making it easier to place the phone on a flat surface while watching videos. It doesn't require any pairing as well as no cords. Each mod attaches to the back of any Moto Z-series phone using the a collection of really strong built-in magnets, so there's no fiddling around.

If you have one of the Moto Z devices and you're looking for a way to enhance its audio, the new Moto Z Stereo Speaker Mod has got you covered. Besides listening to music, users can also use the speaker mod for hands-free calling. The new and cheaper mod relies on the phone for power source, whereas the earlier mod featured a rechargeable battery of its own.

This actually isn't the first speaker mod that Motorola has launched but a lot of them are from third-party partners.
