A suburban Chicago man is in jail on charges that he kidnapped a woman and attempted to sexually assault her while he posed as a police officer.

Edinburg Police suspect more victims exist after a local pastor is charged with ggravated sexual assault and practicing medicine without a license.

The man, from the Penpedairheol area, was later charged with two counts of assault and two public order offences and released on bail to appear in court at a later date. Investigators did recover presumed medical items, "we have some items being tested" said Asst.

Shatik Dawes, 29, eventually exited the residence near Brown Street and Lloyd's Lane after a city police hostage negotiator was called to the scene, police said.
