City of Brass Leaving Early Access; Console Release Date Announced

Inspired by the famous Arabian folk tales of Arabian Nights, City of Brass puts players in the sandals of a thief looking to pull off the ultimate heist in the magnificent ruins of an ancient Persian city. "City of Brass is a fast-paced hack-and-slash adventure leaping from the pages of Arabian Nights", said Orman. Players cannot only use the whip to stun or disarm their enemies, but to grapple and swing through the city.

City of Brass also features optional modifiers which can tweak everything from player health to damage output. Players can wield it to manipulate hazards from a safe distance and spring deadly traps on unsuspecting enemies. The game includes Blessings & Burdens System, which is expected to make the experience much more comfortable or maybe deliver the total opposite. We hope players will enjoy plundering the city for its treasures when the game launches this May. This system also extends to Mixer where viewers can interact with streamers by griefing them with additional enemy spawns or helping them out with a gold drop or healing items. Some will barter gear, upgrades, secrets, unlocks or protections in return for loot. Of course this is a video game, so you find it filled with traps, terrors and an evil curse that forces you to die and be reborn over and over again.

If I had to describe City of Brass to a skeptical bystander, I'd begin by telling them to stop censoriously waving their finger, and just listen. The game is available on Steam Early Access for a while, but now it has a solid release date for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
