Furthermore, the company will be launching a new smartphone in India on March 14. Given that, Mi Mix 2s could be the first device by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer to come with wireless charging something that was earlier seen on Samsung and Apple devices until now. From the teaser that was found to be included in the Mi TV 4A video, it was speculated to be the Redmi 5 smartphone that was unveiled along with the Redmi 5 Plus in China in December previous year. If we compare it to the predecessor, the company is improving a bunch of new features on the latest edition of the series. These are for the Snapdragon 845 as its processor and a depth of field rear camera sensor. Today, we have confirmation about the Wireless charging support on the device.

According to the teaser that Xiaomi posted on its official Weibo account, an image with a blue-coloured energy symbol is hanging in the air on top of a raised platform. A lightning bolt directly above this adds further proof that the company does intend to hint towards wireless charging on its upcoming smartphone.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is due to launch on March 27 and now a new leaked video has given another look at the phone. The short video shows a user opening an app on the phone and scrolling through the content. In the video, the edge-to-edge display can be seen clearly along with a notch on the side. With the Mix 2s, Xiaomi is looking to shake things up once again.
