Stormy Daniels offers to return Trump affair hush money

David Rhodes and Yonit Levi at the Keshet INTV conference

A lawyer for Daniels, whose legal name is Stephanie Clifford, reportedly put in the request on Friday, claiming that because Judge Elizabeth Feffer of Los Angeles Superior Court is now seeking a federal appointment, it would not be appropriate for her to make a judgment in a case involving the president.

When Donald Trump Jr. was asked about Stormy on Monday, March 12, the president's son continued to eat his ice cream and tell reporters that they weren't speaking about the Daniels topic at the moment, as reported by the Inquisitr. This source said it's the only reason Trump has stayed quiet on the issue and hasn't been tweeting about it. The difference here compared to accusations from other women is that there's a signed agreement and a payment. In Texas a notary is required to do all three for a document to hold up in court.

Daniels has said she had sex on one occasion with President Donald Trump, and then carried on a friendship with him.

The president of CBS News says a "60 Minutes" interview Stephanie Clifford, the adult film star known as Stormy Daniels who alleges she had an affair with President Trump, is very much in the works and will air soon, despite reports of legal threats from Mr. Trump's lawyer.

The exchange would allow Clifford to speak publicly about her allegations of an affair with Trump, and according to the letter "use and publish any text messages, photos and/or videos relating to the President that she may have in her possession, all without fear of retribution and/or legal liability for damages".

CBS's "60 Minutes " taped an interview with Daniels and producers are working to verify claims she made. Three sources confirmed to CNN that Clifford made new claims about Trump in the interview.

"As we have always said, this is about a search for the truth and the ability of Ms. Clifford to tell the American people what really happened so they can make their own determination", Avenatti said of the offer.

Cohen, did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the letter, nor did Cohen's attorney.

CBS also declined to comment on the interview or the prospect of legal action.
