Samsung has released an update for Galaxy

Samsung Galaxy S8

The Nougat-flavored nightmare is about to end for worldwide users of both the Galaxy S8 duo and the fall 2017-released Galaxy Note 8, according to reports coming from Turkey and Canada.

Dactyloscopy in the screen will be the main competitive advantage of Samsung Galaxy Note 9, but it should be recalled that such sensors at this stage of its development simply does not know how to work with protective films and especially glass. KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has released a new research note to investors, seen by Apple Insider, where he claims the successor to the Note 8 won't get a revolutionary in-display fingerprint scanner. The report notes that Samsung may not include the under-display fingerprint scanner despite all the rage during the Mobile World Congress and Consumer Electronics Show this year. Unfortunately, Samsung Galaxy A8 Plus (2018) will get the same updates much less often, as it was in the list of quarterly updates rather than monthly.

Kuo has explained that it is "likely" that the South Korean giant will remove the under-display fingerprint technology from the Galaxy Note 9 due to "technical difficulties".

These issues relate to problems with screen protectors and different environments affecting recognition rates and energy consumed.

Kuo is still pretty positive that Samsung will eventually break through its roadblocks and lead the way when it comes to incorporating fingerprint sensors underneath OLED panels.
