Moto G6 series get certified by TENAA

Moto G6

The price seems to be in line with what Moto's G series typically cost, but fans will have to wait for an official announcement regarding the US price.

The entire world is looking for next 2018 Motorola budget phone which is the Moto G6 and Moto E5 family to release at the earliest, but one has to wait a little few weeks to get hands on it. And, according to rumours, the Moto G6 series could be unveiled next month considering how online reports are now buzzing around the handsets.

We had expected the Moto G6 to arrive at MWC 2018 last month, but the company pulled a no-show. Judging by the screen size and design, the model that surfaced could be the standard G6 smartphone with two other variants, G6 Plus and G6 Play still on the cards.

The listing seems to confirm the same design that was revealed in the past renders and leaks. This includes a curved back panel and a circular dual camera setup that looks a lot like the Moto X4. The device will also pack dual rear cameras comprising a 12MP main sensor + 5MP secondary sensor. As indicated in the certificate, the phone should have a 5.7-inch display and a 3,000 mAh battery when it is launched.

The TENAA listing clarifies the device's dimensions as 154.5 × 72.2 × 8.3 mm with a physical home button that also acts as the fingerprint scanner, just like what we saw on the Moto G5. Past rumours also tip the Moto G6 will be powered by a Snapdragon 450 chipset coupled with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM.

Motorola veteran Sergio Buniac was publicly announced as the new president of the company in a March 26th press release.
