'Call of Duty: Black Ops 4' Confirmed, All The Rumors Were True

Call of Duty Black Ops 4

Now Activision have confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (IIII) will be the next game. A "Community Reveal Event" will take place on May 17th before its "Global Launch" on October 12th of this year.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will be aiming for similar long-term revenues according to Gamesindustry.biz, which is actually true for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 too. Judging by the teaser video in the tweet above, the game will be set in either modern times or the slight future, which lines up with previous rumors. Black Ops 3 featured an expanded zombies mode, a fully cooperative campaign, and a redesigned multiplayer that allowed players to pick a soldier with a unique ability or weapon.

Official confirmation of the new game came on March 8, when Activision issued the following statement: 'The next title in the Call of Duty franchise will be Call of Duty: Black Ops 4!'

Some may think a Call of Duty release for Oct. 12 is early, given the franchise's history of releasing games in late October or November.
