Smartphone Vivo X20 Plus UD officially presented

The Meizu M6S

The start of sales of the Vivo Plus X20 UD will be in China for a few days, but it is not known whether it will bring Vivo to Russian Federation through official channels. The main highlight of the Vivo X20 Plus UD is it's under display fingerprint technology, it is the world's first smartphone to come with an under display fingerprint scanner. Needless to say, the phone is very similar to the already announced X20 Plus, while the UD part is added for its proprietary "under display" fingerprinting properties. The phone stands at 165.2 x 80.02 x 7.35 mm and weighs 183.1 grams. (Synaptics' in-display Clear ID fingerprint sensor needs an OLED display in order to function.) It has super slim bezels on the top and bottom as well as on the left and right, and 128GB of storage. The smartphone is powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor. Are you excited for in-display fingerprint scanners?

Talking about the specifications, the Vivo X20 Plus runs on FunTouch OS based on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. Like the X20 Plus, it also features Face Wake facial recognition feature, Vivo Game Engine that improves the game-play experience, and it also carries support for dual apps.

The X20 Plus In-screen Fingerprint edition features a dual camera setup on its rear side.

The battery that is powering the phone has 3,905 mAh capacity and is charged through the USB-C connector. In China, consumers will soon be able to use this cool feature on the new Vivo X20 Plus UD, which is available today for 3,598 yuan or about $560, and it'll be shipping from February 1st.

As of this writing, there is no confirmation on when Vivo will be releasing the new X20 Plus model outside of the home country.
