Scotland Yard Investigating Kevin Spacey For Alleged 2005 Sexual Assault

Third sexual assault allegation made against actor Kevin Spacey

Scotland Yard has opened a third investigation into Kevin Spacey for sexual assault following an allegation form a new accuser.

The spokesman added: "Officers from the Child Abuse and Sexual Offenses Command are investigating".

Anthony Rapp, who starred in Star Trek: Discover was the first man to come forward and claimed Spacey assaulted him when he was 14 years old.

The subsequent investigation is the third against the actor.

The two-time Oscar-winning actor has been accused of sexual assault by numerous men in the US and England.

Spacey had served as the artistic director at London's Old Vic theatre from 2004 to 2015 and the venue had claimed last November that it had received 20 complaints of inappropriate behaviour during his tenure.

In a police statement, the organization stated the man in question claims to have been assaulted in 2005 in Westminster. He has not commented further on any of the allegations against him, the investigation or loss of his job since the backlash that statement received.

"On 1 November, City of London Police referred an allegation of sexual assault to the Metropolitan Police Service".

He was cut from the already completed Ridley Scott film All The Money In The World, his scenes being re-shot with British star Christopher Plummer.

Spacey has not responded to any of the individual allegations.
