Moto X4 6GB RAM variant to launch on February 1 in India

The company is saying that new variant will be 'faster, smarter and sharper.' The new variant details have not been revealed by the company but it is said to be launching a 6GB variant of Moto X4 smartphone. It is also set to come with Android 8.0 Oreo which brings with it many new features such as notification dots, the Google Play Protect anti-malware system and picture-in-picture support for applications. The new variant is tipped to come with 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB internal storage.

Moto is all set to launch another variant of its popular Moto X4 smartphone in India. Motorola India already started rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo update to the Moto X4 older variants as well.

Also, it's worth noting that the Moto X4 will be Motorola's first 6GB of RAM smartphone to launch in India.

There's a big lineup of Motorola smartphones planned to be launched in 2018, but the company seems to have yet another announcement related to last year's Moto X4 coming up soon. The Moto X4 now has two variants with 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB configurations. We're expecting the 6GB of RAM to come with 64GB of internal storage at Rs 24,999.

The Moto X4 rocks two cameras at the back. Under its hood, there operates a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 630 SoC. In terms of design, the smartphone features an anodized aluminum frame, and 3D contoured front and back glass design.

To refresh, the Moto X4 bestows a 5.2-inch LTS IPS display with FHD 1080p resolution and Gorilla Glass protection.

Battery - It is backed by a 3000mAh non-removable battery with a Turbocharge support.

In the camera department, the Moto X4 features a dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide secondary sensor.

There is also a 16-megapixel front camera for taking selfies with a front flash.
