Manu Ginobili magically makes a 3-point pass no one can believe

San Antonio Spurs vs. New York Knicks: Lineups, preview & prediction 1/2/18

He was just as fooled initially as the referees and didn't realize the ball had gone in the basket, the most weird bucket of San Antonio's 100-91 victory over the New York Knicks on Tuesday night.

At one point in the second half of the game, Ginobili tried to throw a lob pass for Aldridge, who was near the rim. With everybody in the arena seeing that an assist has failed, it was hard for the referees to actually believe that the ball ended up going through the hoop. But Popovich believes players such as Parker paved the way for Ntilikina, Kristaps Porzingis and the current generation of European players thriving in the National Basketball Association.

Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich protested to the referees as well, but jokingly admitted after the game he did not see the ball go through the basket. After taking a look, they credited Ginobili with the unintentional three-point basket. "Then everybody started grabbing me and saying the ball went in. I finally was able to take it", Ginobili jokingly said after the game. Gregg Popovich didn't even know what to say. NY forward Michael Beasley immediately retrieved the ball as it bounced toward the free throw line and started dribbling toward the Knicks' basket.

"He's the only 40-year-old that can make plays like he does every night".

Details on how to watch the Spurs vs. Knicks are below. Common sense I guess.

Leonard played 30 minutes for the first time this season.

"I thought he looked confident". When the Spurs faced the Sixers on Wednesday, almost all their notable players sat, with Kawhi Leonard and Tony Parker labeled out due to "return from injury management". "I just threw it up because [Aldridge] was being fronted. The refs reviewed it and we got it", Ginobili said.
