Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered is coming to Xbox One in March

A remastered edition of Assassin’s Creed Rogue is coming to the Play Station 4 and Xbox One platforms later this year

Originally released in 2014 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Assassin's Creed Rogue is set in 18th century North America and takes you from locations like New York City to the Wild River Valley and ice-cold waters of the North Atlantic, where you'll set sail and courageous the waves. In early December, word came it had been rated by the Korean Ratings Board. Initially launched in 2007, the Assassin's Creed franchise has since transcended video games to offer new and immersive experiences in comic books, mobile games, novels and even movies.

Hitting the high seas on March 20, 2018, Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered will include all previously released DLC, bonus missions The Armor of Sir Gunn Quest and The Siege of Fort de Sable, plus the Master Templar and Explorer packs, which contain cosmetic items. If you happened to purchase a PS4 Pro or Xbox One X recently, they've also added support for pseudo-UHD in the form of upscaled 4K support. Though Ubisoft did not initially comment on it, the company has finally confirmed that it is indeed getting remastered for Xbox One with a release set for this year.

"Players' journeys will take them from attractive New York City to the Wild River Valley and icy cold waters of the North Atlantic". The title plucks most of its influence from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, featuring epic ship battles and looting, and is known for its offensive Irish accents.

Assassin's Creed Rogue tells the unique story of Shay Patrick Cormac an Assassin who become disillusioned with the way of the brotherhood after a disastrous event with an artifact. Although PC players seem to be missing out on the remaster, its likely that the new edition is simply bringing the enhanced graphics that were available on the PC version to the consoles.
