Africa divided over US President Donald Trump's first year in office

After over two hours of testimony - and being asked about the issue repeatedly - Nielsen deflected questions from other Democrats on the matter, saying she had said all that should could about the matter.

Durbin said that while this week has been a odd one for his political career, he believes more Republicans will distance themselves from the president.

When Dickerson asked Cotton about the thrust of the remarks, as opposed to the President's word choice, Cotton said, "I did not hear derogatory comments about individuals or persons". Lindsey O. Graham, R-S.C., was at the infamous meeting with Trump and told others about his racist language.

More recently, of course, Trump called Mexicans "rapists" and drug dealers, referred to a Hispanic Miss Universe as "Miss Housekeeping", retweeted anti-Islam conspiracy videos, trafficked in anti-Semitic memes and called Senator Elizabeth Warren "Pocahontas" even as he was supposedly honoring Native American World War II heroes at a White House event.

On Capitol Hill, Homeland Security secretary Kirstjen Nielsen testified under oath Tuesday that she "did not hear" Trump use the vulgarity to describe African countries. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt.

Nielsen deployed some "tough language" of her own as she countered charges she was not truthful as she described what happened in an infamous Oval Office meeting last week. And on Tuesday he took his criticism a step further, blaming Trump for turning DACA negotiations "into an s-show".

The President's son spoke out following the latest instance of Trump saying something deemed by critics to be racist or racially insensitive.

"I can say now Donald Trump is a racist".

According to Politico, Durbin said that Trump's words were "so bad and so impactful" for so many people that he felt compelled to speak out after the president denied the comment. It means that you buy into an ideal of self-representation, compassion, tolerance, the ability to practice one's religion without interference and the acceptance of those who are different.

State Sen. Kwame Raoul (D-Chicago), a candidate for IL attorney general, released a statement Tuesday saying Rauner's inability to call Trump a racist is "pretty damning".

Trump denied using the vulgar term, but did acknowledge employing "tough" language during the White House meeting.

But pressure from right-wing hardliners, who Trump considers his base, scuttled the deal in the volatile meeting in which he made the grotesque remarks.

Durbin called on Congress to deal with DACA now, instead of trying to tackle a broader immigration proposal.

Black Amber condemned African politicians who make wealth at the expense of the development of their people, and stash the monies in foreign banks, to Europe and other foreign banks who tend to lend the monies to African countries with high interests.

The bill would extend the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, known as DACA, which protects young immigrants brought to the country illegally as children from deportation. The governor's campaign spokesman later said Rauner believes Duke is a racist and that Trump's comment was "unacceptable".

"I think I know why".

The White House has said it backs a short-term spending measure by a Friday deadline to prevent a shutdown. The White House said there are no tapes.

'Why are we having all these people from s***hole countries come here?' he allegedly continued.

According to Durbin, Trump asked why the USA wasn't welcoming more immigrants from places such as Norway, whose prime minister had visited the White House the day before.
